Chair of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee asking for the
Llywydd’s views on Standing Orders relating to regulations being subject to a
provisional affirmative procedure – the new procedure for the scrutiny of
regulations relating to tax bands and tax rates.
The Llywydd informed
Business Managers that Assembly and Welsh Government officials are working on a
process that will address the Committee’s concerns, and will share that advice
with the Business Committee and the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee
