1.1 No apologies were received.

2.1 The Committee considered its approach to the scrutiny of the Legislative Consent Memorandum for the Children and Families Bill and agreed to write to the Minister for Health and Social Services to request further information.

3.1 The Committee noted the minutes of the previous meeting; the letters from the Minister for Health and Social Services in relation to the Human Transplantation (Wales) Bill; the letter from the Wales Deanery regarding actions from the meeting of 10 January; and the letter from the Minister for Health and Social Services regarding actions arising from the meeting of 5 December 2012.

Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for:

·         the remainder of today’s business;

·         the meeting of 6 March;

·         the meeting of 14 March; and

·         item 1 of the meeting of 20 March.

4.1 The Committee agreed the motion.

5.1 The Committee considered this item in private session.

6.1 The Committee considered the key issues that have arisen during scrutiny of the Human Transplantation (Wales) Bill.
